What was your first job?

Opening and operating an upscale full-service restaurant, which impacted the lives of my community as well as provide jobs and training for full restaurant staff.

Is there something (product, service, person, etc.) you cannot live without in your everyday work life?

Farmers market for local grown produce and fresh ingredients.

Where do you see your business in the next 10 years?

I see the Che Moore brand as a global force to be reckoned with and becoming a household name. I’ve always said I’m the black Martha Stewart (lol).

What’s next for you?

Writing several cookbooks, hosting a series of how-to-entertain dvds, designing a high-end line of aprons , having my own cooking show, and starting a foundation & camp to teach young girls how basic cooking techniques as well as coaching and mentoring them to be entrepreneurs.

A chef is creative, marrying ingredients in the way a poet marries words….A divine being, who from the depths of his kitchen rules the human race , one considers himself a minister of sorts , because his kitchen is his temple, in which the ovens are the altar.
