A magical night of Fun and Fundraising Festivities to Benefit Franklin Square

“An Evening in Franklin Square” is a fun night of fundraising for the historic locale. The cocktail party starts at 5:30 PM with a silent auction, followed by dinner provided by Brulee Catering, dancing and a live auction to support the park’s preservation.
In attendance will be a handful of very recognizable Philadelphia area residents, including Mayor Nutter and Governor Tom Corbett serving as Honorary Co-Chairs, Randy Chapman, President of Chapman Auto Group as event Chair, and special guest Charlie Manuel.
So, get out your best garden party attire and support this great outdoor space.

Historic Philadelphia, Inc. (HPI) held the first annual Evening in Franklin Square in 2009 to support this treasured park. With the help of the community, the event was able to achieve great success and has continued to grow.
The May 20, 2011 event welcomed more than 400 people to participate in the silent and live auction, dinner and dancing. Attendance has grown by over 30% since the event was launched in 2009.
HPI raised nearly $150,000 to support the ongoing operation of Franklin Square, such as maintaining year-round security and free programs.
