Houston Astros Wives host the 22nd Annual Black Ties & Baseball Caps
on Thursday, Aug. 18, at 6 p.m. on the field at Minute Maid Park

The 22nd Annual Black Ties & Baseball Caps begins with the cocktail reception and silent auction at 6:00 p.m. followed by dinner and live auction at 7:00 p.m.
Astros Hall of Fame broadcaster Milo Hamilton will emcee the signature event, themed “A Night of New Beginnings“, as supporters mix and mingle with Astros’ players.
Impressionist and voice actor Rich Little will entertain gala attendees. “The Man of a Thousand Voices“, Little has amazed audiences with his impressions of famous male celebrities, including those of past presidents, singers and actors.
The event benefiting the Houston Area Women’s Center (HAWC) will be attended by current and former Astros players.

The Black Ties and Baseball Caps silent auction, chaired by Michelle Quintero, will offer items perfectly suited for the wine connoisseur, the vintage sports memorabilia collector and even the luxurious traveler displayed in an elegant setting on the field at Minute Maid Park. Guests in attendance will also bid on one-of-a-kind live auction items including unique sports memorabilia, exclusive getaways, an “Astros Express” playhouse modeled after Minute Maid Park‘s train and more. About the Houston Area Women’s Center (HAWC)
The mission of the Houston Area Women’s Center is to help individuals affected by domestic and sexual violence in their efforts to move their lives forward by providing shelter, counseling and advocacy to live lives free from the effects of violence. The Women’s Center is the only emergency shelter in Houston open to all survivors of domestic violence and the Rape Crisis Center for the city of Houston.
