Help raise money and awareness to fight human trafficking and modern day slavery at this annual ball.

Washington, DC
The Capital City Ball is an all volunteer non-profit organization that hosts an annual black-tie fundraiser to support local charities that fight human trafficking in various ways, now in its fifth year. The elegant gala draws a diverse crowd to celebrate freedom month.
The event will host a silent auction featuring such items as artwork, sports tickets, hand crafted objects, collectibles, dinners at fine restaurants, and electronic equipment. Proceeds from the silent auction benefit the charities associated with the Capital City Ball and help them continue their important work fighting human trafficking and modern-day slavery.
The goals of the affair are simple, raise money and awareness for an important charitable cause. The cause aims to combat human trafficking because it is such an egregious crime, and because the organizations dedicated to fighting it need a tremendous amount of support to effectively combat this scourge.
In addition, live music will be provided by Bittersweet, an eleven-piece, high energy dance band that performs regularly at exclusive events throughout the Washington area. Hot and cold hors d’oeuvres will be available to enjoy through out the event as well as an open bar.
Proceeds will benefit Bridge to Freedom, Courtney’s House, HIPS and WEAVE.
