RHOBH star Camille has decided not to come back for season three, a source confirms to PEOPLE.
“She wasn’t willing to expose her personal life anymore,” the source said. “She’s at peace with her decision.”
Viewers watched Camille‘s 14-year marriage to actor Kelsey Grammer unravel during season one. She later accused her husband of landing her the reality series “to keep me preoccupied in California while he was off having his affair [with Kayte Walsh] in New York.”
Newly-single Camille was much mellower and seemingly happy on season two — although she famously confronted her friend Taylor Armstrong about husband Russell‘s physical abuse.
In January, a show source reportedly told Radar Online that it was an “open secret” that Camille, 43, likely wouldn’t be back, and that producers had asked “RHOBH” stars Lisa Vanderpump, Adrienne Maloof and Kyle Richards if any of their rich pals would want to be on the show. At that time, Bravo told TODAY.com that they had not made any casting decisions yet.
Camille also recently reached an amicable settlement with ex-husband Kelsey in the custody case of their two young children, Mason and Jude.
Meanwhile, Camille stepped out with hunky new boyfriend Dimitri George Charalambopoulos last October. The duo are still going strong, and were spotted partying together on Friday night at N9NE Steakhouse inside the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas with her castmates Adrienne Maloof and husband Dr. Paul Nassif, Kyle Richards and hubby Mauricio Umansky.
“She’s in a great place in her life right now,” says the source. “She’s grown a lot in this past year and she’s made some wonderful friendships [on the show]. It has steered her life in a direction she never imagined. She’s ready for new challenges.”
The Bravo hasn’t responded to a request for comment about the latest news.
