Jennifer Aniston buys Bel Air Mansion with an Ocean View and a Vineyard!

Jennifer is the proud new owner of an 8,500 square foot mansion in Bel Air.

The 3.5 acre property, perched on the foothills of the Santa Monica mountains, is in a gated community which is home to stars including Nicholas Cage, Hugh Hefner and Lauren Bacall.

The luxurious mid-century abode is described as having “absolute privacy and a marvelous open floor plan with walls of glass. Perfect for an indoor outdoor lifestyle and ideal for entertaining.”

Designed by A. Quincy Jones, the house has 4 bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms and unobstructed city and ocean views.

“I entertain for a living, and I entertain,” Aniston told Architectural Digest magazine in an interview last year when her 10,000-square-foot home was featured in the magazine after she gave it an eco-friendly overhaul including solar panels.

It sits behind gates atop a three-acre knoll and has killer 300-degree views from downtown to the ocean — plus a vineyard. The home has spectacular public rooms, high ceilings, walls of glass and lots of meandering paths through gardens.

It also features a separate guest house, swimmers’ pool, a vineyard and wine cellar and a projection room.

Jennifer is turning out to be a canny real estate investor, she sold her Beverly Hills mansion for $37 million last year.

The couple bought  a 10,000-sq.ft French Normandy house in Beverly Hills for about $13.5 million. In 2006 it undertook a major remodel including a sophisticated security system and a paparazzi-proof fence.

They then spent two years refurbishing it and are now selling it as part of their divorce settlement for $28 million.

Jennifer‘s love of renovating properties was inspired by ex-husband Brad Pitt , who has dabbled in architecture.

Asked if she enjoyed the process of creating the home, she said: ‘Yes, Designing a house is like doing a movie.

‘Once you’re done, you want to say, “I hope you all enjoy it.” ‘

For the time being, when on the West Coast, Aniston and beau Justin Theroux have been leasing a 1,761-square-foot house in the Hollywood Hills.

The original asking price was $29 million last April and reduced to $24.9 million. The sharks, smelling blood, circled and Jen picked it up for $22 million, sources say. Escrow is expected to close this week.

Jennifer‘s realtor is Jade Mills from Coldwell Banker in Beverly Hills. Mills is having a good month. She reppresented Avril Lavigne, who sold her $8.5 million mansion to L.A. Clippers star Chris Paul last week.
