With daughter Pandora off and married to Jason Sabo, Lisa and hubby Ken Todd knew it was time downsized.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Lisa Vanderpump and her restaurateur husband Ken have sold their Beverly Hills mansion for $19 million. The gated home is located at 50 Beverly Park Way in the guard-gated Beverly Park neighborhood.
Why the move? Lisa confirmed the 17,000-square-foot estate was far too large for two people — even for two reality stars (and their dogs!).
They put the home on the market back in December of 2010 with an asking price of $29 million. The 17,000 square foot home was designed by Richard Landry and boasts a porte-cochere, 7 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, wine cellar with tasting room, two offices, billiards room, impeccably manicured grounds, gardens, swimming pool, tennis court, topiaries and much more.
So where will Lisa, Ken, and Giggy call home? Don’t worry, they won’t be leaving the famous 90210 zip.
“We found a beautiful, 10,000-square-foot home in Beverly Hills which I adore,” Lisa tells Radar. “I’m never happy with anything I buy… the new house needs extensive remodeling to suit me and my husband’s needs.”
Mauricio Umansky, uber-Beverly Hills agent who is married to Kyle Richards, another star of RHOBH represented Vanderpump and was a principal agent involved. He declined to speak to AOL Real Estate because of a confidentiality agreement. Umansky recently left the umbrella of Hilton & Hyland Real Estate — a boutique agency to which he’s related through marriage to the Hilton namesake — and co-founded his own boutique agency named, appropriately enough, The Agency.
“Pandora wanted to get married in the house and I’m sad both she and I won’t live in it to savor those precious memories,” Lisa explained. “But life goes on…”
