TOP TEN Cities that Spoil Children The Most

The average middle-income family will spend roughly $12,000 on child-related expenses in their baby’s first year of life. By age two, you can add $500+ to that figure.

According to Bundle.com‘s new infographic of which city’s parents spend the most on their children, real kids in Manhattan are still the most spoiled in the US and their hipster neighbors in Brooklyn are a close second.

Babycenter.com calculates how much your child will cost you. If you’re a northeastern couple making more than 100k per year, expect to spend more than a half million dollars on your kid from birth to age 18.

Bundle looked at spending by households with children at stores that sell toys, clothing, and other services for kids over a three-year period. Out of 36 cities, they found that Nashville represented the national average.

Predictably, flashy and affluent Miami, Dallas, and Los Angeles all made it into the top ten spenders.
