Touching Heart is looking forward to working with our sponsors to plan yet another amazing day on the greens at the 3rd Annual Joy of Giving Golf Tournament. We look forward to an even greater success as sponsors and supporters come together to enjoy a great day of golf and raise funds for Touching Heart’s local and global projects. The tournament is set to tee off May 8, 2014.

We are so proud to look back on the the 2nd annual golf tournament and call it a sweet success. Participants were welcomed by the brightly shining sun, more than twenty smiling Touching Heart volunteers, complimentary cigars and a delicious breakfast. Dozens of silent and live auction items were up for grabs and golfers competed for fabulous tournament prizes.
Participants, including celebrities Darrell Green, Ken Harvey and Dan Hellie, enjoyed a variety of themed holes throughout the course. Players had the opportunity to win a Jeep by sinking a Hole-In-One, partake in a refreshing mixed drink and improve their chances of hitting the green by using the women’s tee. A professional photographer caught many a memorable moment at this hole, as the golfers had to dress in women’s clothing prior to teeing off!
When the golfers returned to the clubhouse, they were greeted by another delicious meal, drinks and a final opportunity to bid on the auction items. Local children who have personally experienced the joy of giving through their own charitable projects spoke to further emphasize the true spirit and intent of the Touching Heart organization.
Together, our wonderful sponsors, dedicated golf committee and tournament participants made The Second Annual Joy of Giving Golf Tournament a huge success!
