Best Spa & Salon:

Most Spas and Salons are based on membersship in China, If you are just visiting, any hotel spa or salon is great. Chinese people are very into their beauty and daily routines, spas are part of their life as well, most girls would make a visit every other week or so, they are different than the western facials, you can’t go wrong by going to spas there. Strongly recommended.

Best Shopping:

San li tun (Soho) – it’s the American town in Beijing, you will find a lot of European and American brands there. This is the place to go if you are homesick; you will see a lot of Europeans and Americans there as well. Especially at night, when all the bars open up, a lot of foreigners go there and have a drink at night before heading out to club.

WangFuJing: For many years, the shopping street of Wangfujing has been the pride of Beijing. It’s glass facades are perhaps not that remarkable in today’s Beijing, but the selection of products ranks among the city’s most exclusive and it is said that Wangfujing is Beijing‘s only pedestrian street.

Houhai Lake Area: Houhai is mainly a place for relaxing and lounging. But, the side street of Yandai Xiejie have some interesting and original light shopping as well, you will find some very interesting and traditional Chinese crafts there.

XiDan Area: This is the shopping street where you can buy Chinese brands, the whole street has a several malls that you could go see, each one has a couple of levels that includes lots of options. A lot of locals or Chinese people would go there and do their daily shopping.
Hello Kitty Dream Restaurant

Best Restaurant:

Houhai Lake:  The lake is surrounded by restaurants, bars and cafés, many of them offering both inside and outside seating during the warmer seasons. Boats are available for hire if you feel like taking a relaxing trip along the lake. You can visit Houhai during the day, but it is really at its best in the night, when the restaurants are crowded with guests and the moon is shining above. Do visit Quanjude Peking Duck Restaurant while you are there, it is the first original restaurant that serves traditional Peking Duck. It’s what one must eat at least once while visiting Beijing. 13 Shuaifuyuan Lu, Wangfujing, Dongcheng District, Beijing, China (Tian’anmen/Wangfujing) 010-65253310
