The Lanesborough/ London Marriott Hotel County Hall
The Lanesborough, a St. Regis Hotel, captures the grace of the Regency period. Right by Knightsbridge, the residence is minutes away from the exclusive shopping of Harrods and Sloane Street. It’s a very quiet neighborhood at night. The Lanesborough London http://www.lanesborough.com/ Hotel Hyde Park Corner London SW1X 7TA, United Kingdom +44 20 7259 5599
If you were looking for more of a busy place at the heart of London, then I would suggest London Marriott Hotel County Hall, it’s in the best location if you are visiting London for the first time and wanting to get a true feel. You get a fantastic view of Big Ben and the River Thames, near the tube and great for getting around. May Fair Spa
This place is well decorated, and it really makes you feel relaxed. The Golden Caviar Facial is my favorite, and I usually get a body wrap after. My favorite is their Seaweed Body Wrap, but any one is fabulous! The people are extremely friendly and you’ll leave this place feeling anew. Toni & Guy
They are the sponsors of London’s famed Fashion Week, I got my hair done there before and the experience was exquisite. I had my hair dyed and styled. The salon served a very nice traditional English tea. Then you can get either coffee or a cocktail as you wish at the end. Selfridges is a super large shopping mall that has everything you can think of. I love this place because I can just go there and get everything I need in one mall. My favorite place would be the shoe department, you get a collection of shoes, it’s like a girls’ heaven. Selfridges http://www.selfridges.com/ 400 Oxford St London, Greater London +44 800 123400
Bond Street has all of the big brands, great place to check out the latest trends and avoid the crowds. Bond Street http://www.bondstreet.co.uk/
Harrods, oh the famous Harrods, it’s a place that you should definitely go even thou you weren’t planning to shop (you might end up with a few things anyway). Each section and floor has a different concept, you can also see Princess Diana’s original engagement ring there as well! Although London’s has a reputation for bad food, I have some suggestions where you will change your mind!
Afternoon tea: Fortnum & Mason – The Diamond Jubilee Tea Salon
This place is my favorite afternoon tea room in London because of its simple and relaxing décor. The room is very big with lime green traditional sofas, very homey with a hint of elegance. The sweets and sandwiches were very delicious as well. It is a great place to get away from the busy streets and just sit down and have a cup of tea, relax and plan your next adventure. Restaurant Gordon Ramsay in Chelsea
If you are in the Chelsea neighborhood, Gordon Ramsey is a very modern French restaurant. Offering very delicious foie gras, I also liked their Bresse Pigeon. You can finish your meal with some delicious Parfaits. Restaurant Gordon Ramsay http://www.gordonramsay.com/royalhospitalroad/ 68 Royal Hospital Road
London SW3 4HP
Alain Ducasse at the Dorchester, one of my favorite neighborhoods, if you are a French cuisine sucker like myself, this is the place to go! Alain Ducasse has the best seafood. If you are a vegetarian, they have an awesome selection as well. Alain Ducasse at the Dorchester http://www.alainducasse-dorchester.com/ 53 PARK LANE LONDON W1K 1QA – +44 (0)20 7629 8866
Best Nightclub or Lounge
Boujis is a posh little club that is in a nice neighborhood, one of my personal favorites. Beautiful venue and people there. Boujis http://www.boujis.com/ 43 Thurloe St London, Greater London SW7 2LQ, United Kingdom +44 20 7584 2000
Another nice place would be Café de Paris, next to the W hotel, this place is well decorated, reminds me of an opera house. But depends on the night and venue, I would say it’s a nice place to go check out. Café de Paris http://www.cafedeparis.com/home 3-4 Coventry St London W1D 6BL, United Kingdom +44 20 7734 7700
