If traveling is your passion, we can totally relate!
Whether it’s Paris to Singapore or New York to Moscow, we’ve been there and done it! Ashley Boalch, Erin Lyons, Rachel Wang Pang, Tahera Zamanzada and their friends will recommend the best a city has to offer.
Who loves it:
Les Jardins de la Villa (4 star)
Located in the heart of Paris close to the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs-Elysées, this 4 star hotel is definitely a go-to for the solo traveler or couple. The chic Parisian vibe I craved for was combined with a romantic garden setting. The hotel’s entrance has a discreet luxury but inside was cozy and comfortable. Their rooms were the perfect size and the bathrooms were fully equipped with the best shower heads! The staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They answered all my questions in regards to finding the best salon, best place to eat, etc. Les Jardins de la Villa www.jardinsdelavilla.com 5 Rue Belidor, 75017 Paris, France +33 1 53 81 01 10
Featured Spa or Salon:
Franck Provost Salon did an amazing Chignon for me which was about 60 Euro. It was within walking distance from the hotel and you don’t have to make an appointment. www.franckprovost.com
Across the street you will find boutiques and many other hidden gems. Typically there are not many shopping malls in those parts of the world. The absolute best streets for shopping would be Avenue Champs-Elysées, Rue de Passy, and Boulevard Haussmann.
There are many Parisian cafes which have delicious cappuccinos, crepes, steak frites.. you’ll find them on every corner.
Featured Nightclub or Lounge:
I would definitely suggest Chez Raspoutine Paris. It is a staple there among the hip Parisians and jet-set. Go dressed to impress and be ready to party the night away with the best of the best! Their motto is “NO table reservation , NO guest list , NO bouncer just, Face-control Card System.” Chez Raspoutine Paris www.raspoutine-paris.com 58 rue Bassano 75008 Paris, France
Every single one! Visit the 1st arrondissement (administrative districts) all the way to the 10th arrondissement!
Could you live there:
Who would say no? YES! YES! YES!
Carry a tiny map with you if possible. This particular hotel provides you with one for sure. Some of the street names are hard to pronounce for the average American, and it would be easy to point to where you want to go to the taxi driver.
