Lauren Conrad's New Beverly Hills Condo and Novel

Former MTV star purchased the luxury $1.35m condominium in the 90210.

Buying such an upmarket apartment is surely a sign that things are good and the wannabe designer’s fledgling clothing lines are doing a roaring trade.

The fact she already has a home in the posh celebrity enclave Malibu suggest LC by Lauren Conrad and Paper Crown have managed to find an audience, according to DailyMail.

The canny 26-year-old is clearly keen on investing in real estate. Lauren how has two homes in two of California‘s most desirable areas.

The massive 3,200 sq. ft. 2-story, penthouse has 3 bedrooms, 4 baths, and a 24-hr security system. The luxury bar is raised even higher by the fact it sports full hardwood flooring, marble bath, full gym, a rooftop pool and outdoor deck.

But there is also plenty of scope for entertaining her gaggle of celebrity friends, as her new home boasts an indoor bar and an attractive dining area.

This level of luxury does not come cheap in the exclusive 90210, Conrad has to shell out $2,319 in homeowners’ fees alone.

She also has to pay her million dollar mortgage on top of that, so she will be hoping to make a dramatic return to reality television soon.

Lauren knows a few things about life as an “IT” girl in Los Angeles. She’s also the best-selling author of the L.A. Candy series, which follows young interns on the prowl. Now she’s back with a new series featuring a favorite L.A. Candy character, Madison Parker.

The blogger turned author dishes on her new novel, ‘The most fun for me is being able to tell all the little tricks that people do in the media. Mostly, the shameless ones in terms of calling their own photographers and leaking their own stories, the little things that people don’t really know about but everyone in the industry knows.’

Currently, Lauren will continue designing LC Lauren Conrad for Kohl’s and Paper Crown, the follow-up to her popular L.A Candy novel and stay focused on beauty.
